about the producer:

Kerry Seed is a multimedia journalist. He has produced features for many outlets including NYTimes.com, WashingtonPost.com, NPR, the BBC, Chicago Public Radio and Maine Public Radio. This summer he will be reporting from Beijing, China for The Center for Digital TV and the World.

From 2004 to 2007, he was Assistant Director and Senior Producer of WMPG's Blunt Youth Radio Project. In 2006, he curated, hosted, and produced WMPG's PRX Showcase Show, The Local Option.

He co-founded Fusion Pictures with Trac Minh Vu.

He is a student at the Graduate School of Journalism at UC Berkeley. He studied creative writing at The University of Montana and studied radio at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine.
