about the producer:

Kerry Seed is a multimedia reporter and producer. He has produced features for and contributed to many outlets including The Wall St. Journal, WashingtonPost.com, NYTimes.com, NPR, the BBC, The Oregonian, Chicago Public Radio and Maine Public Radio.

From 2004 to 2007, he was Assistant Director and Senior Producer of WMPG's Blunt Youth Radio Project. In 2006, he curated, hosted, and produced WMPG's PRX Showcase Show, The Local Option.

He co-founded Fusion Pictures with Trac Minh Vu.

He studied journalism at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, creative writing at The University of Montana and radio at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine.
